- This award is not transferable to another individual.
- Individual must commit to 2 work days over a 4-week minimum period, with a maximum of 6 weeks.
- Work experience must take place in April – July 2017.
- Open to Australian residents residing in Victoria, of legal working age (15 and over).
- Individuals must be capable of lifting décor, soft furnishing (cushions, bed linen) and making beds.
- The scholarship will be paid at $25 per hour for a contractor (Individual ABN required. Note, guidance for successful candidate will be provided on how to obtain this ABN if one is not currently available).
- The value of this scholarship is $1,200 (8 day min.) -$1,800 (12 day max.) period.
- All entries become the property of Designs to Inspire, and we may use the entrant’s name and submission for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes.
- Designs to Inspire shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the internship, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
- The winner will be notified via a phone call within ten days of the conclusion of the competition.
- If a winner does not accept the internship within the time stipulated by Designs to Inspire, then the prize will be forfeited, and cash will not be awarded instead of the prize.
- If Designs to Inspire is unable to contact the winner within this time, the internship will be awarded to another shortlisted candidate.
- Designs to Inspire does not take any liability for loss or failed submissions due to technical or other issues.
- Only original work that does not infringe copyright may be submitted.
- Individuals must submit an entry by completing the online form by answering all questions and follow @Designstoinspire on Instagram and tag an original photo of a styled kitchen, bathroom or bedroom corner using #propertystyling, #dtiaward and #designstoinspire.
- A maximum of 2 photos (1 per entry) accepted per individual.
- We ask that PRIVATE accounts are made PUBLIC during the promotion in order to be entered. Per Instagram rules, we must mention this is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram, Inc. By entering, entrants confirm they are 15+ years of age, release Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Instagram’s term of use.
- Shortlisted candidates must provide a resume and referee with phone number.
